Yesterday, if you happened to be listening to Benny’s show on PRN radio you may have noticed that he lost his voice on the air. Everyone thought it was from the radiation/cancer treatments (even us). After being flown home by Rick Hendrick yesterday after the race, he saw Dr. Limentani this morning who said this is a cold. Benny began his second round of chemo this morning and continued on with five day a week radiation. He feels under the weather today mainly because of the cold but still plans on doing his radio show tonight.
Hello Terri and Benny, I wanted you both tp know your in my prayers. You see i have brain cancer and doing chemo now. It’s a hard struggle but i live day by day and want to live for my 5 granddaughters. they are so helpful to me. i’m not ready to give up because of them. Benny the last race I was able to attend was Bristol in 2004. I had a bad stroke in August of 2004 and now in wheelchair. Last week my thoughts were of Jack Roush you see i lost my brother and sister in plane crash. it seems as if i’m being tested of how much i can handle but i’m hanging in there, and Benny you do the same. Itwould not be the same if you weren’t doing the races on Sunday. may God be with you. Linda Jackson 912 main street Dunlap tn 37327
